Ames, Iowa - Poppy Field - June 2025

I mentioned in my previous poppy posts (see related posts) that I'm allergic to poppies (and morphine, and presumably heroin). The poppies came back out this summer, and I decided to go brave it again at sunset. I ended up with some light anaphylaxis after breathing some in directly while bending down, but it was worth it to me. Hope you enjoy. If you happen to think any of these may be good State Fair Salon fodder, please let me know!
