Makar's Mash Bar is a TripAdvisor "Best of the Best" restaurant, the #1 casual eat in the UK and #9 in the world for the past seven years.

Real Mary King's Close was rated 2024's top UK attraction by TripAdvisor. We visited it and St. Giles Cathedral on our first full day.

Craigmillar Castle is Edinburgh's OTHER castle, but is in beautiful ruins.

I love "The Crown," although I'm not a royalist. A has watched the episode about the royal yacht's decommission, so we visited it.
