Butterfly Release/Zinnia Field - Center Grove Orchard - Cambridge, Iowa - August 2025

This is probably the last time I'll do any marketing-ish photos for Center Grove Orchard, as their new marketing director really likes photography and does it on his own for the most part. However, I still like taking the kids out to CGO just to grab photos - we love going to the butterfly release each year, in particular.

Each year, the butterflies we release pick one of the kids to really like. The first couple of years, CRD was the favorite. This year, they loved AKD so much!

Zinnias are just gorgeous!

See? The butterfly just hung out on AKD for forever.

If I remember correctly, CRD's may have been sort of sickly - it didn't really engage with him, and I think it sort of just fell out of his envelope.

My name is Angie.  I find normal to be largely boring.  I am really lucky to get to spend time behind my camera doing all kinds of fun things, and also super-really annoying my kids by taking a million photos of them.
