Madrid, Iowa - High Trestle Trail Bridge - May 2025

Our family went for a bike ride through Madrid and along the High Trestle Trail Bridge. I've not ever taken either of my good cameras just because I didn't want to break them if I fell or something. However, I'd recently gotten a new little Olympus Tough TG-6 Digital Camera, as it is mostly waterproof and I want something to take with us on vacation this fall.

It's not perfect, particularly in color - it's a little oversaturated and maybe even just a teeny bit hazy. But I really enjoy it black and white. I don't think oversaturation will be a big deal underwater, just because the water will naturally make things a bit hazy. Here are some of the photos from the ride.

I was not wildly comfortable with C climbing the fences constantly.

A enjoying the day!

My name is Angie.  I find normal to be largely boring.  I am really lucky to get to spend time behind my camera doing all kinds of fun things, and also super-really annoying my kids by taking a million photos of them.
