Photo Backlog - A and C - September 2015

More backlog photos. These are some from Setpember 2015. There's not a great deal here that is incredible or anything, but just are a few of our adventures for the month where I had my camera in-hand.

I believe I was taking a photo class on lighting at the time, and a healthy portion of it involved fill flashes (which I overall do not enjoy). Anyway. Off we go.

I don't love the exposure on this - the background needs softened, there's too much luminance on the kids. But I love how A adored C.

My chill girl. She's now so grown-up.

I just love this photo (even though it's slightly over-saturated). A looks beautiful. C is so sweet. I'm pretty sure I made a sound of flatulence to get them to both look and smile, just because it was so hard to keep everyone's attention at that age.

Here is some practice with the fill flash. A is beautiful, and gave me a ton to work with - but I just didn't do much right here. Bad angle, bad composition. I needed to step down the flash just a bit. But she was always just the sweetest - age 5 here.

There used to be a barn on the outskirts of a little park right across from our house. I always loved the texture.

A got her first ride on a horse when we visited a local-ish renaissance faire. She and I had a great time. C was fine so long as I was wearing him, but J full-on hated it. Apparently RenFaire is not his thing.
