Bushmills, North of Ireland - Giant's Causeway (Part 2) - August 2025

We got down closer to the Causeway on our walk. Here you can see why the Giant's Causeway is so unique. There are thousands and thousands of largely hexagonal stones that form a somewhat rickety stepway - the rickety stepway across which lore indicates giants walked over to Scotland.

I definitely could never have been a giant, because I am way too unstable of a walker to have made it very far on these stones. I was pretty much a breath away from bashing in my head (or worse, my camera) the whole time we were there, just due to being not incredibly well-balanced. But it was 100% worth it - just such an entirely gorgeous area.

This lady made it further out than we did - I got out further than where this photo was taken, but not much further. I only had on tennis shoes, which was a big misstep.

My name is Angie.  I find normal to be largely boring.  I am really lucky to get to spend time behind my camera doing all kinds of fun things, and also super-really annoying my kids by taking a million photos of them.
