On our tour that took us from the Cliffs of Moher through the Burren on the way to Galway, we drove along the Wild Atlantic Way. The Wild Atlantic Way is 1600 miles, officially recognized as the world's longest defined coastal drive. It typically takes 11–14 days to fully explore its 14 stages, offering dramatic cliffs, beaches, and villages. We only went along a small portion of it, but I presume it's called as such due to all of its windy roads, and the gorgeous and raw nature. There are points at which it is so narrow that it's so narrow it is only one-lane, despite the fact that there are people going both directions. Pretty ideal for a tour bus. It was beautiful, but if you've got motion sickness (which I very much do), you may want to triple up on the Dramamine.
Make sure to bring a camera and catch all of the famine walls - these are fences that stretch throughout the Irish countryside (particularly by the Burren). They were part of a government plan to try and employ the destitute during the Irish Potato Famine.
