Dublin, Ireland - Howth (Part 2 - Cruise) - August 2025

It's important to mention that it was super-windy the day we visited Howth. I'd originally had a different cruise booked for JTD and me, but the company had cancelled it due to strong winds and high waves. Unfortunately, I didn't get that message until after we'd gone on a different cruise when we noticed the original place was closed - I just knew that they didn't respond when I asked to move our cruise to a later one.
We found a new tour and got on the boat. We started out the tour on the back of the boat facing sideways, and not only was it terrible for photos, but I was definitely going to need to throw up over the side. (Even JTD was getting a little nauseous, and he doesn't get motion sickness.) Fortunately the "captain" (who looked about 11) allowed the four of us and another couple of people up to the very front. We got super-duper wet, but it was way less awful if we could see the water ahead rather than what we had been doing before.
