Mary Greeley Medical Center Foundation

For several years, I volunteered to do the photography for some Mary Greeley Medical Center Foundation events. My husband worked at the hospital at the time, and a friend at United Way recommended me to their PR director. I sort of lucked into the role and was happy to get to be involved for several years.

One of these events was the annual Hope Gala. The gala's mission changes each year; for most of the years I attended, the money raised went to the cancer center. The last year or two I took photos, the money went to the mental health unit. All of the causes were vitally important.

I bowed out around 2021 or so, just because the time commitments for our children were too large for me to go through hundreds of photos constantly. However, I urge anyone in the Story County area to donate as they can. A few photos from some of the galas (I can't find a ton):

Just some random photos, nothing special. But I got to experience some really neat moments.
