Dublin, Ireland - Downtown Dublin - August 2025

After visiting Trinity College, we went across the street from Christ Church Cathedral to Dublinia, an exhibit on the vikings who invaded Dublin that was sort of cheesy. (Sort of really cheesy.)

However, during our walk, I grabbed the camera and took just a few photos of the River Liffey and the little bridge that connects Christ Church and Dublinia.

Ornate streetlamp on a bridge, overlooking a row of colorful, historic buildings along a river under a cloudy sky. Text: "DINE COFFEE".
Street view of Dublin with colorful buildings, a yellow double-decker bus, and banners. Overcast sky creates a calm urban atmosphere.
Two colorful doors, one pink and one lavender, on a brick building with stone facade. Windows with shutters and flowers in front, urban setting.
I have a thing for photographing doors in other countries. I have a little display of some of them in my office at work. These were just adorable, so I had to grab a photo.
Two colorful doors, pink and lavender, numbered 1 and 2 on a brick building with arched windows. Pink flowers in the foreground.
A gothic stone archway over a street with people walking below, flanked by historic buildings. Red brick and iron fence visible. Calm mood.
This is the bridge across which you can travel from the Dublinia exhibit (I believe on the left) to Christ Church (on the right).

My name is Angie.  I find normal to be largely boring.  I am really lucky to get to spend time behind my camera doing all kinds of fun things, and also super-really annoying my kids by taking a million photos of them.
