Halloween - October 2018

This was a really, really fun year, as it was the first year we started trick-or-treating with a group of friends. It definitely helped to avoid stragglers to have more parents on-deck.

A and I had watched a Ruth Bader Ginsburg documentary the previous summer, and she had loved it. We sort of leaned into the "strong female icon" vibe for a majority of the rest of her costumes from this point on, which I love. C had wanted to be Batman, so my mom purchased him what can only be described as an outrageously nice costume to make his year - and it did.

J dressed up this year, as well. Game of Thrones was a thing in 2018, so he went as... I don't know exactly who, I think a Stark?

As I mentioned previously, this was the first year that the kids went trick-or-treating in a group, and they absolutely adored it. C adores G, who is Harry Potter here, from A's class - they have sort of a surrogate little/big brother thing going on, and it's awesome.
