Halloween - October 2021

2021 was another year with perfect weather, so it was a lot of fun! I was in the mood to decorate, so we had some good indoor and outdoor decorations, and the kids found costumes they absolutely loved... until C tried his on and hated the pants. It was still fun. A took a small departure from significant females to be a significant historical male when she dressed as Napoleon. It was a great costume, and she pulled it off well. C wanted to be Teddy Roosevelt, so we got him this "big game hunter" costume that he loved. Of course we had to add a gun to it, because heaven forbid we have a Halloween costume without a gun! Our usual crew went out and about again!

The hand on her midsection is just perfection! J got A an actual training sword and scabbard, which you can see here that I used a zip tie to keep it shut. Because C.

I'm admittedly not 100% sure why he wanted to salute, but it was adorable. Also, whenever J is out of town for work, C currently insists on sleeping with the toy rifle so he can "knock the bad guys out" if any home invaders strike.
