We're in the home stretch! Almost caught up.

In August 2023, J was in Las Vegas for a football game with friends. The kids and I were at home, so we decided to spend some time looking up Halloween costumes. A was pretty easy - she had been watching the delightful new version of Emma with Anya Taylor-Joy with me, and had decided (finally!) that she loved Jane Austen. She decided she wanted to be Jane - but ideally wanted to be her with tuberculosis, so she wanted a handkerchief with blood spots on it. (We never ended up getting that accomplished.) I came across a Charlie Chaplin costume, and fell absolutely in love with it for C, as his face is super-expressive and it's so unique. After watching a few scenes from Chaplin movies, he was all in. It was a super fun year.
