And we are officially caught up!
This year, the kids took charge of their own Halloween costumes. I had been trying to encourage C to be Ben Franklin in a bald cap, but he had other ideas. He decided to go as Guy Fieri. It was hilarious, and I have to give him credit for his creativity. A, on the other hand, chose to be a nun who carried a briefcase. She playfully called it "Nunya Business." However, when the costume arrived, she changed her mind. There wasn't much excitement from her about it.
As we prepared for the photo session, I wanted to get the kids outside for some fun shots. C was up first. I had to grab my camera, so he went outside to wait for me. As I stepped out the front door, I saw him pulling J's grill up to the front. It took me a moment to catch on. "Hey, why are you bringing Daddy's gr... oh, that's gonna be awesome. Okay." The kid has taken his photo styling to the next level!
A - age 14 - "Nunya Business"
C - age 10 - Guy Fieri
